What the fuck good is the Oversight Committee if they can’t fight this bullshit?  I can’t be any more frustrated at this process and it’s truly amazing that these fucktards can get away with doing exactly what Scooter Libbey was convicted of doing, namely obstruction of justice. 

They can just make up some horseshitting excuse why they cannot provide key evidence to an ongoing congressional investigation and NOTHING HAPPENS.

Foreclosure isn’t that funny. Imagine, if you will, that you rent and you pay everything on time, but your landlord’s a deadbeat. Well, that just means that you lose. Fucking weak.

Turning the Department of Justice into a political engine to move all of the administrations criminal acts underground while suppressing rational and dissenting views through firings or transfers, as well as eviscerating former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman through trumped up charges and what can only be viewed as a complete corruption of the entire judicial, legislatorial, and executive body of that state, are just a few of the actions that Rove must account for. Conyers himself is excited (and rightfully so) to prosecute this jagoff to the fullest extent of his authorityl stating recently that they needed to “kick Rove’s ass”.

Jesus. Who gives a shit at this point? Even if you like the franchise you HAVE to be getting tired of a new game/controller coming out every couple of months. This isn’t like a Madden or a 2K sports series here. To me, it’s the equivalent of 3-4 versions of DDR coming out within 2 years and each one would offer up another version of the dance pad, then you end up with goddamn different dance pads all over the joint. Cool it with the fucking hardware.

I also understand that Guitar Hero IV will have a drum controller, again blurring the line between Guitar Hero and Rock Band. I think anyone who bought into the Rock Band package will be pissed to see another, more superior, fake-ass drum set available after shelling out 160 bucks for the original bundle.

In the end all this will do is add another useless husk to a boneyard of music-themed videogame accessories. Sort of like having a collection of U-Forces. Harmonix has a killer sales model with an initial controller then a library of micro-transactions for additional songs. I’m not sure that releasing controller after controller will continue to be effective.

The ProjectMix I/O is M-Audio’s answer to the more expensive Digidesign (despite being part of the same company, AVID), Tascam, and Mackie control surfaces. It gives you a flexible audio interface and motorized fader-based control-surface. I’ve debated making the leap in purchasing this thing on several occasions. I don’t have any need for it now, but seeing how M-Audio likes to drop driver support for certain products, I’m glad I didn’t pick it up.

It’s safe to assume that the ProjectMix I/O is one of (if not) the flagship devices M-Audio makes currently. OS X Leopard (10.5 to be exact) was released October of 2007 and M-Audio still has not provided support for the operating system. It seems odd to me that a company that has such a partnership with a software manufacturer could be “caught with it’s pants down” when it’s new, much publicized, operating system is released. No doubt M-Audio was given advance access to the pre-release copies of Leopard as to allow them to release updates to their product lines. Why a company as prolific as M-audio is in the Mac Pro-Audio field would not be able to write a driver update for their flagship hardware devices after over a year is beyond my sphere of understanding.

I’ve already come to grips that I won’t be able to use my much-beloved Omnistudio Pro USB anymore, since they’ve stated they have “no plans” to support it into OS X Leopard. Fine. It’s an older device; gone discontinued since 2005, I believe. Sucks, but I can take it. How the hell is anyone to have any confidence with this company when you can’t be guaranteed to have drivers prepared for your $1500 recording device a YEAR after an operating system is released. For fuck’s sake, point-releases are coming through (already 10.5.2 and 10.5.3 on the way) and nothing. I don’t envy ProjectMix owners.

Currently, I’ve been experiencing problems with my FastTrack Pro USB interface that I purchased to replace the OmniStudio (I believe in second chances). The audio will drop out after functioning normally for an arbitrary amount of time. I don’t know if it’s a problem with the device or with the driver software that M-Audio dutifully provided, several months after OS X Leopard was released. I like to know if there’s a company out their more trust worthy than M-audio to fill the void on reliable audio interfaces. I hear bad stuff about everyone else’s products like Tascam, Lexicon, Focusrite, etc, (minus Pro Tools rigs, but I hear issues regarding the software required to run them, plus I want be able to use software other than ProTools), maybe this is all their is? All I can do is tune in and wait.

What the fuck does winning the West-Virginia primary really prove, at this point?

Okay who on this planet seriously doesn’t know who the fuck Tom Cruise is? You’d have to live in a 3rd world country with no access to virtually anything for you entire life! I came across this video that has made it to the top of the digg page that claims in 1992 Mickey Kantor, a political aide to the Clinton campaign and now an aide to the Hilary Clinton Presidential campaign, said derogatory and racially hateful comments about residents of Indiana.

Of course some asshole puts this video on youtube, disables comments, and everyone takes the bait. No one in the digg comments even suggests that the video is erroneous and doctored. The text subtitles that are displayed show an entirely different message than most likely was said. The subtitles are as follows:

“It doesn’t matter if we win. Those people are shit. How would you like to be a worthless white ni**er”

If you listen closely to the tape and pay attention to Mikey’s mouth at the end of the video you’ll see that he doesn’t say anything of the sort. What he actually said (if you pay attention) was:

“It doesn’t matter if we win. Those people are shitting. How would you like to be unintelligible“

What happens is, they change the subtitles to read like he’s calling Hoosiers “shit” and since the last part of the “How would you like to be” sentence is whispered, the fellow creating the video added in his own lines (spoken from the heart, i’m sure) over the original audio to make it seem like this guy said it.

Don’t you find it odd that this video emerges just before the Indiana primary. Also, if this was anywhere near accurate, you don’t think that someone would have shit a brick in the last 10+ years since the documentary was released? Underhanded bullshit

Audio Analysis – Clinton War Clip

After locating a similar clip of the video and comparing it to the version that was pulled from youtube, it doesn’t seem to have been doctored at all. The pulled clip was a bit noisier but that could be a product of the video capture. I’ve sampled both clips and assuming the second “original” clip is legit they seem to be the same recording.

I took the audio output of the pulled clip and put this on the left channel and then took the other “original” clip and pasted it on the right channel. What you are hearing is two clips side-by-side. If there were any differences or signs of doctoring then you would hear the clips either go out of sync or you would hear temporary panning as the two clips differed.

As of this moment I don’t know what the last comment was. I still believe that he didn’t say the people of Indiana were “shit”. He definitely said “they are shitting”, which I would believe to be a reference to the white house since Clinton was ahead in Indiana, a normally red state. The last statement seems to be a combination of his words and James Carville’s muttering, since he was reading information from a document right next to the camera. I really don’t know. What do you guys think?

She was convicted of money laundering, using the mail for illegal purposes and racketeering. Palfrey faced a maximum of 55 years in prison and was free pending her sentencing July 24.

55 years!? There are murderers who do less time. I’m sure that sentencing was pursued solely for purposes of burning her at the stake for embarrassing the powers that be.

Anything that the government can do to try and prove that they haven’t been thumbing their asses for the last 7 years
