If you have some free time, and I’m not suggesting that you do, I recommend checking out this awesome retelling of the events leading up to the War in Iraq.
PBS Frontline’s: Bush’s War
It’s a two part series and seriously puts everything in its place regarding the shit that we’ve gotten ourselves into up until the present time. Too bad it’s from PBS. They need to get more exposure on this one. I think this clears up a lot when thinking about what the administration was thinking (or not thinking) when these terrible decisions were made.
It sort of makes you feel bad for Colin Powell, being as that they had him sized up and marginalized from the start, only to pin the whole argument for war on his shoulders. The speech he made to the U.N. for forever be known as an impossibly bold collection of lies and exaggerations that signaled our intentions to enter into a conflict with Iraq.
I was pretty mad at him, and I guess I still am, because he let himself be used by the administration in a way that HE KNEW was dishonest and would lead to war. As a general he KNOWS that war isn’t to be entered into lightly. Despite that speech, the real fuckers Wolfowitz, Cheney, and Rumsfield are the real criminals, with the rest of the bureaucracy as accomplices.
I definitely recommend.

So we’re less than a week past our five year anniversary of the current Iraq war and the death toll of U.S. troops and personnel has officially hit 4,000. At least those are the numbers the government is fronting us. Yeah I say fronting because at this point does anyone seriously trust anything that our countries representatives tell us anymore?
In any event, the article I linked above also cites the number the Iraqi deaths as anywhere between 80,000 to hundreds of thousands. Okay WTF!!?? We invaded the country right? I assume that means we have people in most major cities and outlying areas. Even in the areas of conflict we obviously have a presence actively hunting insurgents. Now my question is when an Iraqi dies, does it not count? It seems so because I find it hard to believe that after 5 years over there we can’t come up with a more concrete number than “80,000 to hundreds of thousands”.
Our government likes to bombard us with information right? Everyday we hear about how they infiltrated this insurgency or took out that terrorist cell or how things are getting better in Iraq, yet we don’t yet have the capability to count dead people? Was there some sort of system in place that accounted for dead people before we arrived? Possibly not since I’m sure Saddam didn’t want his actions in that arena cataloged in too much detail. Yet and still I can’t help but think how re-goddamn-diculous it is that we can’t track how many Iraqi’s have died over there.
Also I’d like draw your attention to the following statement from the article:
“This is global terrorism hitting everywhere, and they have chosen Iraq to be a battlefield. And we have to take them on,” Mowaffak al-Rubaie said Sunday on CNN’s “Late Edition With Wolf Blitzer.”
Now this is coming from an Iraqi politician yet I find myself wondering exactly who he means by “they”. See, I think of “they” as these two guys. The two gay lords who got us into this whole fucking mess. They’re the ones who “chose” Iraq to be a battlefield. Anyway, as usual, I find myself digressing.
Let’s just figure out a way to get a better count on these bodies guys. I suppose, of course, that would require the will to want to do so.

This would be Cheney’s dream date. Someone he could screw, spend, and stand behind while they took a bullet for him.
CNN Link
Of course it’s successful, you stupid asshole! You and your evil, maniacal, and poisonous friends have made off with BILLIONS of dollars while over a MILLION people have lost their lives! That sounds just like the kind of success that would lift your manhood out of it’s cobwebbed liar and into the glory hole, aptly named “American Asses”! Seriously, fuck this scumbag and his friends
I would love, LOVE to hear this asshole explain his actions to a crowd of his peers. The fact that we are taking polls to determine if we are experiencing a recession right now is exactly our problem. We hear and digest so much bullshit we don’t even know who we are anymore. And fat fucks like Cheney are chuckling their cunts off all the way to their diamond encrusted yachts.

Chall may have seen in the news the other day that former Rep. Geraldine Ferraro enlightened the country with a terribly original thought…that Barack Obama was only a viable candidate for the Democratic nomination because he’s a black man.
from CNN.com: Ferraro said, “If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”
My initial thought was to just ignore this stupid bitch since she’s just a money-grubbing lobbyist now who happens to be pushing for Hillary Clinton. While I support Obama in the coming election, personally it’s not because he’s black. I know there are more than a few people who are only supporting him because of the color of his skin and not because of the issues…that’s our society. But I’m pretty sure the other potential Democratic nominee has something similar working for her. Hello? How many people do you think are supporting Hillary just because she’s a woman, assface? Reread what the scag said about Obama, “if he was a woman, he would not be in this position.” WTF? Isn’t that what got your candidate in this position? That and having been married to the last good president?
Like I said, I would have just let her be. But then today, CNN posts this article where the living nut-sack claims “they’re attacking me because I’m white.” Holy shit. So now, Obama’s only a candidate because he’s black, and you’re the enemy because you’re white and you pointed out that he’s not? Her continued stupidity spawned this article.
Hey sack-face, since you’re all about making generalizations allow me to bring my guns to bear. I’ll generalize that you are only supporting Hillary because she’s a Democratic candidate…nothing tough there. How about I generalize that you’re only supporting her because she’s a woman? Am I a sexist now? Or would you be a sexist if you called me a sexist? Depends on who says it first…and loudest, right? I’ll go one step further and say that you’re supporting Hillary because she’s trying to achieve what you only dreamed of back in your hayday, and failed to partially achieve in ’84 when Mondale chose you as his running mate when you guys got rump-racked by Ronny Ray-gun. I also see that you failed to get back into congress after that reach. Let’s go a little deeper…in a debate with then Vice-P George H.W., you leveled this nugget when the question of your experience in politics came up in comparison to H.Dub’s:
There’s not only what is on your paper resume that makes you qualified to run for or to hold office. It’s how you approach problems and what your values are. I think if one is taking a look at my career they’ll see that I level with the people; that I approach problems analytically; that I am able to assess the various facts with reference to a problem, and I can make the hard decisions.
Some big words in there, i.e. qualified, values, level, analytically… What are you showing about your values by trying to shoehorn your candidate into nomination by saying her opponent is only viable because of the color of his skin? Try stripping all of the issues, experience, values, history from the candidates and leave them with two things: sex and skin color. Then run your election and see who gets picked. Tell you what, at least a third of the country has already done that…guaranteed. Yet, Obama’s ahead in the votes, and unless it really hits the fan he should secure the nomination for the general election. My guess is a majority of the people that only see in monochrome and are judging balls v. ovaries are not siding with your candidate, along with the rest of the populous that are able to form a rational thought and choose a candidate to nominate for themselves.
In summation: unless you want to compare stances on issues, just shut the fuck up. Don’t start some racial shit and then claim that everyone else is racist when they react. I’ve had enough of politics that are driven by racism, religion and political greed. Try to pin your fucking mouth so that the population can actually focus on what these candidates stand for instead of what they stand as.
And as always, thanks to wikipedia for the fact-checking.

Huffington Post Article
After a prostitution ring is busted, current Governor of New York, Elliot Spitzer resigns apologizes, having linked himself to the ring via cellphone records, and perhaps via his prick. This fucking cockhole is giving Democrats a bad name, but at least these are adult females with business heads on their shoulders.
Remember that last bit when all the fat-pubs are shitting all holy hell about this over the next several years. I can hear it now. Bellowing morality while striking everyone with their bible-balls. Nice job, Elliot. You fucked up.
I guess this is what happens when you get your dick caught in the cookie jar….or something like that.

I don’t know about you guys but this New York Times story has me concerned. It seems like depending on the concentration of drug use in a particular area you could be exposed to more of a particular pharmaceutical. For instance they said the the concentration of caffeine was higher in suburban areas. They really need to start doing long-term testing on this kind of exposure. For what the story tells about the amount of steroid cocktails that get passed through cattle you wonder what that does to the surrounding communities.

Remember that FISA bill from the Senate Intelligence Committee that lets companies that spied on you and me to not have to face the responsibilities that such law-breaking would warrant? Of course you don’t, because you didn’t know it even existed and it certainly wasn’t as important as whether or not Hillary Clinton wept, or whether Mike Huckabee wants to change the Constitution of the United States to follow God’s law (fun-fact: He does!)
If you knew about the measure and wanted to support Senator Dodd in his fight to strip the telecom immunity provisions from the bill, then you’re TOO FUCKING LATE, ASSHOLE!
Criminals are putting their man-slabs through the ear canal of lady liberty, and it’s not a pretty site. It happens so frequently now that it amazes me that there’s anything holding her head together that isn’t covered in hedonistic pop wads.
Here’s to you, Government (for lack of a better word). For as much ass you fuck, you sure know how to keep yours out of harms way.
Update – 5:27 PM – 2/12/2008
There is a petition to support the RESTORE Act and for the House to reject the lame-ass excuse for a FISA revision the Senate just passed today. SIGN IT, and Please EXPRESS YOUR OUTRAGE!

CNN featured an article today titled Suit: Airport searches of laptops, other devices intrusive part of which told the plight of Pakistani-born U.S. citizen Amir Khan, and the various difficulties he’s gone through at the hands of custom officials while crossing the border into the U.S.. In fact according to Khan some customs officials have even gone so far as forcing him to reveal password protected and confidential information from both his bank as well as the company he works for.
Embedded ever so snuggly into the succulent meat of the article is the following quote made by one Russ Knocke, a spokesman for the Department of Homeland Security.
“You forgo your right to privacy when you are seeking admission into the country. This is the kind of scrutiny the American public expects.”
STOP!! REWIND!! PLAY AGAIN!!
“You forgo your right to privacy when you are seeking admission into the country. This is the kind of scrutiny the American public expects.”
Okay anyone not catch that? You want to come to America? Fine, all you have to do is give up your right to privacy! Done and done!
What disturbs me the most is not so much the absurdity of the statement (Neocon’s have been spouting horseshit like that for years) but the fact he claims all Americans expect this and thereby embrace it!
What’s even more appalling is when you consider that statement in the context of Amir Khans situation. Amir Khan is a U.S. citizen. Born in Pakistan yes, but a citizen of America none the less.
So what’s the moral Mr. Knocke wants us to learn children? Now repaeat after me:
When crossing the border back into the country of his/her citizenship, said citizen is expected to not only surrender his/her right to privacy but on top of that should fully embrace such a surrender.
According to Mr. Knocke it’s the American thing to do!
!!!BULL FUCKING SHIT!!!
Discuss.
