From The London Telegraph by way of ThinkProgress.org:

Maj Gen Taguba, who retired in January 2007, said he supported the President’s decision, adding: “These pictures show torture, abuse, rape and every indecency. [...]

Among the graphic statements…is that of Kasim Mehaddi Hilas in which he says: “I saw [name of a translator] ******* a kid, his age would be about 15 to 18 years. The kid was hurting very bad and they covered all the doors with sheets. Then when I heard screaming I climbed the door because on top it wasn’t covered and I saw [name] who was wearing the military uniform, putting his **** in the little kid’s ***…. and the female soldier was taking pictures.” [...]

Three detainees, including the alleged victim, refer to the use of a phosphorescent tube in the sexual abuse and another to the use of wire, while the victim also refers to part of a policeman’s “stick” all of which were apparently photographed.

Now the “kid” in the above example was male, as was the translator who was allegedly busting up his bowels.

Also from The Daily Beast:

A senior military officer familiar with the photos told me that they would likely provoke a storm of outrage if released. … Some show U.S. personnel engaged in sexual acts with prisoners and each other. In one, a female prisoner appears to have been forced to expose her breasts to be photographed. In another, a prisoner is suspended naked upside down from the top bunk of a bed in a stress position. [...]

Still other withheld photographs have been circulating among U.S. soldiers who served in Iraq. One soldier showed them to me, including a photograph in which a male in a U.S. military uniform receives oral sex from a female prisoner.

So the decision that Barack made to block the release of these photos is a little more justified. No matter how many “My Bad”’s you issue after revealing that your government condoned and permitted sexual assault on male and female (sometimes underage) detainees in your charge, you are going to have a tough time “focusing on the future” without answering calls to prosecute military and CIA personnel and also civilian contractors. I really don’t think that there’s any way around prosecutions and further investigations, because I think that there isn’t way to ignore this any further. I read a story yesterday that said essentially Maliki was briefed on these photos and stated, “Bagdad will burn” if the world were to see these images. Releasing the photos without any actions taken to apprehend or answer to the crimes these images depict would probably rush the United States out of the region much sooner than planned, for good or for ill. The longer Obama hesitates to sort out these crimes and bring perpetrators/planners/instigators to justice the more he is complicit in the coverup.

…

Army lost track of 56 airplanes, 32 tanks, and 36 Javelin missile command launch-units.

And before the Iraq war, when military leaders were scrambling to find enough chemical and biological warfare suits to protect U.S. troops, the department was caught selling these suits as surplus on the Internet “for pennies on the dollar,” a GAO official said.

Imagine, if you will, the same scenario from Toys. Real-world missions are given to children (unbeknown to them) plugged into ultra-realistic video games to dispatch enemies and accomplish objectives. If the military can give that kind of control to Air Force pilots 7500 miles away from the battlefield, then why not send out free video game software to gamers, allowing them to control real military aircraft, with safety precautions in place (not allowing the pilot to intentionally crash the aircraft, or harm friendly targets)? Maybe 10% of “gameplay” would connect “players” to real scenarios, the rest simulated, so only the highest ranked gamers are allowed to contribute to the fight for freedom.

I hope someone finally roasts this fat-ass, criminal, shit-burger on the grill. He’s basically had his attorney send in polite little refusals to appear, even stating that he would reply to the inquiry via written letters, but while he would like the benefit of being able to take the time to trick-fuck congress with his pen, it looks like he’s finally going to appear before the House Judiciary Committee and be forced to explain his many crimes.

Turning the Department of Justice into a political engine to move all of the administrations criminal acts underground while suppressing rational and dissenting views through firings or transfers, as well as eviscerating former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman through trumped up charges and what can only be viewed as a complete corruption of the entire judicial, legislatorial, and executive body of that state, are just a few of the actions that Rove must account for. Conyers himself is excited (and rightfully so) to prosecute this jagoff to the fullest extent of his authorityl stating recently that they needed to “kick Rove’s ass”.

So we’re less than a week past our five year anniversary of the current Iraq war and the death toll of U.S. troops and personnel has officially hit 4,000. At least those are the numbers the government is fronting us. Yeah I say fronting because at this point does anyone seriously trust anything that our countries representatives tell us anymore?

In any event, the article I linked above also cites the number the Iraqi deaths as anywhere between 80,000 to hundreds of thousands. Okay WTF!!?? We invaded the country right? I assume that means we have people in most major cities and outlying areas. Even in the areas of conflict we obviously have a presence actively hunting insurgents. Now my question is when an Iraqi dies, does it not count? It seems so because I find it hard to believe that after 5 years over there we can’t come up with a more concrete number than “80,000 to hundreds of thousands”.

Our government likes to bombard us with information right? Everyday we hear about how they infiltrated this insurgency or took out that terrorist cell or how things are getting better in Iraq, yet we don’t yet have the capability to count dead people? Was there some sort of system in place that accounted for dead people before we arrived? Possibly not since I’m sure Saddam didn’t want his actions in that arena cataloged in too much detail. Yet and still I can’t help but think how re-goddamn-diculous it is that we can’t track how many Iraqi’s have died over there.

Also I’d like draw your attention to the following statement from the article:

“This is global terrorism hitting everywhere, and they have chosen Iraq to be a battlefield. And we have to take them on,” Mowaffak al-Rubaie said Sunday on CNN’s “Late Edition With Wolf Blitzer.”

Now this is coming from an Iraqi politician yet I find myself wondering exactly who he means by “they”. See, I think of “they” as these two guys. The two gay lords who got us into this whole fucking mess. They’re the ones who “chose” Iraq to be a battlefield. Anyway, as usual, I find myself digressing.

Let’s just figure out a way to get a better count on these bodies guys. I suppose, of course, that would require the will to want to do so.

Of course it’s successful, you stupid asshole! You and your evil, maniacal, and poisonous friends have made off with BILLIONS of dollars while over a MILLION people have lost their lives! That sounds just like the kind of success that would lift your manhood out of it’s cobwebbed liar and into the glory hole, aptly named “American Asses”! Seriously, fuck this scumbag and his friends

I would love, LOVE to hear this asshole explain his actions to a crowd of his peers. The fact that we are taking polls to determine if we are experiencing a recession right now is exactly our problem. We hear and digest so much bullshit we don’t even know who we are anymore. And fat fucks like Cheney are chuckling their cunts off all the way to their diamond encrusted yachts.
