If you’ve seen the hilarious “Awesome Boobage” episode of South Park this season you may remember the very un-southpark animation featured to parody (or salute) the old Heavy Metal animated feature.  South Park Studios has created a page featuring behind the scenes cuts explaining the work that went into some of the more memorable moments.

Now if we could only get Tray and Matt to do proper commentaries on their DVD releases, I’d be quite happy.  The fact that they could only muster about 5 minutes (if that) per episode really hurts the value of those discs.  You can’t tell me that you don’t have ANY anegdotes or witticisms about these episodes for christ’s sake.  If you don’t have enough to say, then do like the Simpson’s crew and get more production people in on the recording.

From Geekologie:

“Hailing all the way from Thailand, this commercial was made for Sylvania by ad agency JEH United and has it all — a picnicking family, ghosts, a guy who may or may not be a member of the Blue Man Group, and a transvestite. Advertising people, take note: this is how you sell freakin’ products.”

This is one of the coolest f’in commercials I’ve ever seen!

More sensible link.

They captured pretty much all of the memorable scenes and it’s actually not bad.

Fucking Awsome

Sorry for the repeat post, I just realized that this post was sitting there unpublished to the world. We all would surely miss it, should it not be searchable and available to all visitors.

In leu of the utterly fascinating David Lynch videos related to our man’s panty diet, I thought this one also deserved a mention. Pretty fucking brutal. lol

Anyone who has ever seen Lost Highway already knows David Lynch has a pretty wack-a-doo mind. As such, the video below should come as no surprise.

The reason you fine and upstanding people get to see it here today is because I find it simultaneously awesome and disturbing, and in my world that makes it newsworthy.

Good times

Yay!!

Chuckle, chuckle ya’ll.
